Based on Network Pharmacology-Quercetin, a Component of Fuzheng Yiliu Decoction Suppressed Prostate Cancer by Regulating PI3K/AKT Pathway

Background. Fuzheng Yiliu decoction (FZYLD) was a traditional prescription with an antitumor effect. We aimed to explore the effect of FZYLD and its active ingredient, quercetin, on prostate cancer (PCa). Methods. The effective components potential targets were obtained from TCMSP, Herb, Batman databases. relationship between compounds PCa’s or pathways analyzed by Cytoscape 3.8.0 software String database. compound composition detected HPLC. effects most ingredient FZYLD, PC-3 cell growth, metastasis, PI3K/AKT pathway seen CCK-8 Kit, transwell experiment, TUNEL assay, nude mouse tumorigenesis test, Western blot analysis. Results. Through network pharmacological analysis, we screened 195 covering 290 targets, which 198 related PCa. Quercetin, luteolin, kaempferol, anhydroicaritin, 7-O-methylismucronulatol important compounds. MAPK1, AKT1, MAPK3, STAT3, Jun common PCa FZYLD. Our in vivo vitro experimental results confirmed that quercetin inhibited migration, promoted apoptosis. Conclusions. As predicted strategy verified basic results, might play role through multiple components, pathways. These provide new basis for developing applying quercetin.
